기초영어 말하기 연습(알고 지낸지 오래 됐다 / 동갑이다 / 다른 지역에 산다 / 둘 다 캠핑을 좋아한다)

 

 

 

 

 

제 친구 중에 오스카 라고 있습니다.

  - I have a friend named Oscar.

 

 

 

서로 알고 지낸지 아주 오래 됐어요.

  - We've known each other for a very long time.

 

 

 

우리는  고등학교 때 부터 서로 알고 지냈어요.

  - We've known each other since high school.

 

 

 

우리는 서로 3년 정도 알고 지내고 있어요.

  - We've known each other for about 3 years.

 

 

 

우리는 공통점이 많아요.(서로 비슷한 부분이 많아요)

  - We have a lot in common.

 

 

 

우리는 공통점이 별로 없어요.

  - We don't have a lot(very much) in common. 

 

 

 

우리는 동갑이에요.

  - We're the same age.

 

 

 

우리는 나이가 대충 비슷해요.

  - We're roughly the same age.

 

 

 

그는 나보다 나이가 2~3살 많아요.

  - He's a few years older than me.

 

 

 

제가 그 보다 2~3살 어려요.

  - I'm a few years younger than him.

 

 

 

우리는 같은 지역에 살아요.

  - We live in the same area.

 

 

 

우리는 다른 동네에 살아요.

  - We live in different areas.

 

 

 

우리는 둘 다 결혼을 했어요.

  - We're both married.

  - Both of us are not married. = Neither of us are married.

 

 

 

우리 중에 결혼한 사람은 없어요.(셋 또는 그 이상, 여러명을 놓고 말할 때)

  - None of us are married. ↔ All of us are married.

 

 

 

우리는 둘 다 아이들이 있어요.

  - We both have kids. ↔ Neither of us have kids.

 

 

 

우리는 둘 다 캠핑 가는 것을 무척 좋아합니다.

  - We both love to go camping.

 

 

 

그는 저보다 훨씬 외향적입니다.

  - He is much more outgoing than me.

 

 

 

그는 나가서 사람들과 어울리는 것을 좋아하는 반면 나는 안에서 혼자 노는 것을 더 좋아해요. 뭐, 영화도 보고 책도 읽고.

   - He loves to go out and hang out with other people, whereas I prefer to stay inside and do things alone. You know, watch movies and read books.

 

 

 

그래서, 충분히 예상할 수 있듯이, 그가 나보다 친구가 훨씬 많아요.

  - So, you can imagine, he has a lot more friends than me.
