기초영어회화(talk / speak / tell / say)

 

 

 

 

 

오늘 아침에 킴이랑 통화를 했어. 

  - I spoke to Kim on the phone this morning.

 

 

* speak, talk : 말하는 행위 자체를 의미함

 

 

 

거의 1시간 동안 얘기를 했어.

  - We talked for almost an hour.

 

 

 

킴이 새로 시작한 일에 대해서 얘기해줬어. 아주 신난 것 같더라.

  - She told me about her new job. She seemed really excited.

 

 

* tell, say : 말하는 내용에 초점을 두고 사용함

 

 

 

일이 쉽고 다들 친절하게 대해준대.

  - She says that the work is easy and everyone is really nice to her.

 

 

* ...be nice to <누구> : 누구에게 친절하다, 누구를 친절하게 대하다.
