영어 연습가이드(예전에는 ~ 했었는데 / 한동안 ~ 하다가 / 지금은 ~)

 

 

 

 

 

예전에는 락음악만 들었어요

  - I used to listen to only rock music.

 

 

* used to : 하곤했다, 했었다(약간 먼 과거에)

 

* be used to someting(명사 or 동명사) : 무엇에 익숙하다

 

 

 

그러다가 한동안 힙합에 빠져 있었는데

  - Then I was into hip-hop for a while. But now I enjoy many different kinds of music including classical.

 

 

* be into .... : ~에 빠져있다. 

ex) He's not really into that  걔는 그런거 별로 안좋아해(관심 없어)

 

* for a while : 한동안

 

* including someting : ~를 포함해서, ~까지

 

 

 

저는 클래식 음악 너무 좋아요

  - I really love classical music.

 

 

 

그는 예전에는 자동차 세일즈맨이었어

  - He used to be a car salesman.

 

 

* used to : 하곤했다, 했었다(약간 먼 과거에)

 

 

 

그러다가 일을 그만 두고 한동안 무직상태였어

  - Then he quit his job and he was unemployed for a while

 

 

* for a while : 한동안

 

 

 

근데 몇 년 공부하더니 지금은 비행 조종사가 됐어.

  - But he studied for a couple of years and now he's a pilot.
